General booking conditions


 

Customer can book a tour by clicking on "Book Now" button on every tour page or just leave us a request in the "Reservation" form.

 

For any deal with us, the Customer agrees to adhere fully to the conditions and terms mentioned in "General Booking Conditions" of Mekong Emotion. These general conditions make an integral part of all contracts that bind Mekong Emotion and the Customer.


Booking and deposit

Upon the Customer’s confirmation of the trip, an invoice will be issued by Mekong Emotion and will be sent to the Customer by fax or email. Booking confirmation must be secured by a deposit of 30% of the trip price. The balance will be paid fully at least 7 days before the beginning day of the trip. Otherwise, Mekong Emotion reserves the right to cancel the trip and keep all the deposit.

If Customer books a trip less than 7 days before the beginning day of the trip, the full price of the trip has to be paid right upon trip confirmation.
 

Payment


Customers can pay for the trip in cash, traveller checks, bank transfer or credit card. All extra cost incurred by such payments is to be paid by the Customer.


Cancellation

Cancellation by Customer

If the Customer cancels the confirmed trip regardless of the reason, the Customer agrees to pay cancellation fees as follows. (The cancellation date is the date Mekong Emotion receives your notice):

More than 30 days: 10 % of total price for the trip

From 10 to 30 days: 30 % of total price for the trip

From 72 hours to 10 days: 50 % of total price for the trip

From 48 hours to 72 hours: 70 % of total price for the trip

Less than 48 hours: 100%

This rule is applied to all other bookings made with Mekong Emotion by the Customer. The cancellation fee will be automatically extracted from the Customer deposit or payment. The balance will be made to the Customer via bank transfer with charges paid by the Customer.

Cancellation by Mekong Emotion

In case of force majeure regarding political conditions, natural disaster, wars, etc, we have to cancel the confirmed trip which the Customer has deposited or paid for. In such case, we will contact you for appropriate alterations or you will get full reimbursements for your deposit or payment.

 

Liability

Mekong Emotion agrees to execute all terms and clauses stipulated in the contracts that bind us. In return, the Customer must comply with the regulations announced by the guide or by the head of the service provider. We hold no liability to any incident or consequence arising out of the scope of the contract.
 

Complaint & Disputes

In case of difficulty, both parties should strive to seek an amicable solution. In case of litigation and/or complaint, "International Arbitration Centre of Vietnam" under the "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam" will have sole jurisdiction.

All complaints must be submitted by writing to us within 30 days after completion of services provided by Mekong Emotion.
